This is a W-2 employee position that pays per client-facing hour (reimbursed based on insurance or self-pay rates). 1099 positions may be available for independently licensed clinicians only.


The Process

First, complete the application linked below. You’ll be asked to upload a few things plus answer a couple short questions. You’ll be contacted by Machen Champion, practice owner, after you’ve submitted your application.

If you have the necessary qualifications, Machen will schedule a brief phone interview prior to scheduling an in person (or virtual, if needed) interview. She’ll also be calling your professional references, so please make sure the those who you’ve listed are ready and available for her call. Applicants will need to complete a background check prior to beginning their contract.

Starting date would be a slow build starting June 2024 or full time in July 2024.

Requirements to apply:

• Must hold a valid license in the state of Ohio as either an LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, LSW, LISW, or LISW-S.

• Must have a master's degree.

• Applicants must be able to bill at least 15 hours a week

• Provide therapy for children ages 3+ and/or teens utilizing a primarily play-based or creative and expressive arts approach (or dedication to learn)

• Pass a background check prior to starting employment
